CPARS (contractor performance information)

Past performance is relevant to future source selections. For covered contracts and orders above applicable thresholds, evaluations are required at least annually and at completion, entered in (subject to type, order, threshold, and reporting exceptions). Delivery therefore creates competitive evidence from day one. Map CPARS factors and customer to owners, evidence, quality controls, and regular reviews while performance can still improve — then hand a clean record to the next capture team.

Options, continuity, and recompete

Option exercise can extend performance when the CO follows the contract’s notice and exercise rules and finds funds, continued need, and advantage. planning backcasts from successor timing, , and whether or bridges are uncertainties — not certainties.
